Oh how precious. It almost makes me want to cry. For I remember when Chloe loved to get her hair done just like that. And how she felt like a princess and would walk in that certain way that would make them bounce super nice.
And now she is getting married in about 36 hours.
Treasure that moment, that look, those eyes full of innocence and that little girl smile.
You sure are right, Madeleine! Little girls love curls, and they *do* walk a little differently to make them spring. :)
And I'm keenly aware of how fast it's all going. Sometimes I have to remind myself to live here instead of "there."
I'm touched that you came by and left a little bit of your heart here as you prepare for such a momentous occasion of your own. Congratulations, Friend! God bless you all...
Formerly an unashamedly vain, hateful, covetous and completely self-seeking atheist, Jesus Christ began His good work in me more than 11 years ago. Today, by His grace, I am a Bible-believing, born-again Christian--a joint heir with Christ by way of the new covenant in His blood. I'm a happy, thankful and contented wife of 21 years, mother to 3 fantastically intriguing daughters, a home educator, a self-admitted music snob, and singer of Baroque and Renaissance music...

I remember those curls...we called them 'banana curls'. My hair was so straight they wouldn't last long.
