Who will get to place the snowman given us by Grace who moved away? Or Mama Lee's thrift store keepsakes? The gold miniature nativity? And the prize finish--the kneeling Santa bowing his head at the cradle of the Baby Jesus...
If I don't get around in the blogosphere for awhile, you'll understand? There are songs to sing, marshmallows to toast and gingerbread to bake; there are bicycles to ride and friends to invite.
But most of all, there is a birthday to celebrate. And children love birthdays.
And heroes! They love heroes too--don't they?
And this month we're celebrating both in the God-Man-Savior, Christ Jesus our Lord.

Wonderful pictures, GB. And if you don't get around to the blogospere for a while we understand. After all, we're celebrating our Saviour's birth! It's time to pull out all the stops. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
I'm celebrating with you! Enjoy this time with your sweet, *beautiful* family...come around when you can, and we'll all be content. ;)
That pic of you was beautiful! You have a wonderful family, I can just tell. Enjoy the Christmas season and spending time with those you love!
Our halls are decked now, too. Somehow I managed to get it all done in one day (yesterday). Love your photos. I especially love the shots of the girls in front of the tree, looking at the lights.
Pardon me for pointing this out, but have you lost weight? For heaven's sake, you look so thin! It's not that you didn't look thin before but this just jumped right out at me. You look great!
Great pictures! It looks like the beginning of a great Christmas!
We're experiencing our first Chanukkah season over here! Actually, you might be very interested in the music clip I put on my latest post. I think it's right up your musical alley ;o)
I love those three pictures of the girls and the tree. Just lovely.
Have a great party! We're heading to Hawaii for our 35th, but will be back for the kids' program and the cantata - all the day we get back early in the morning. But I'm so glad we won't miss any of it.
GREAT pictures!!
What a fun looking time that was. Such big happy beautiful smiles. Mary
lovely~ pictures of your girls.
Yes, it's a busy season, but all worth the celebrating!
MERRY CHRISTmas!
Cute self picture! Yes, our tree looks a bit better this year too as Sweetheart can actually reach up high now AND be trusted with the breakable stuff. I put very few ornaments on this year at all. Merry Christmas!
What a beautiful family tradition! And to be able to grab those snapshots of your children.....they look mesmerized by the thought of Christmas! Great photos! Great Post.
Diane
Great pictures. I have really enjoyed your last few post!
Merry Christmas!
We’re ‘decking the halls’ as well! It’s always such an enjoyable family time to hang ornaments on the tree and get other decorations out. It is certainly the most wonderful time of the year!
Thank you for the kind comment you left me. I certainly don’t mind if you ‘peek around’ or let your 12 year old maiden ‘take a look’! Most people do think I’m a bit crazy because of my love of math and science. But then again, every one has their own special ‘quirks’, don’t they?
I enjoyed visiting. I really like the music you play. I play piano and violin (among some other instruments) and I really like classical music.
Have a great week!

Beautiful family!
Oh, your girls look so stunning by the tree...
We've been doing all of this the past couple days, too! :)
Enjoy this time!
OH I love the pics...especially the last one. Dec those beautiful halls and enjoy!!
you always caputre such great pictures of your girls. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed your photos. I had to chuckled about the tree comment. We have a lot of weight on the front, lower branches of our tree, too. ;o)
Have a blessed Christmas!
