You are right to be weary of this man. While I've always known that I could never vote for him based on his abortion views alone, the little southern Black girl in me wanted to know something about this Black man who could be president. So I read his book, "The Audacity of Hope." I walked away thinking that this is the slickest man I've ever seen. He knows how to disguise his rhetoric for sure. And becasue many can't see past the media hype, it is incumbent upon those of us with discerning hearts to pray for our nation. You are definitely on to something, GB.
What worries me the most about Obama is that he has never really taken a stand on anything concrete. It's all rhetoric and hype for the 30 second sound bite.
Wow, I was JUST talking about him to my husband yesterday! There is something very dark that has paved his way thus far. "The ONE"???Yikes..watching and praying.
Wow! I hadn't thought of that one before! I couldn't put my finger on exactly what it was that bothered me so much about him.....something to pray, pray, pray about.
Hi Lanena, thanks for de-lurking! If you google the phrase "Oprah false prophet" I'm sure that there are plenty of better teachers who have compiled more evidence than I could possibly have time for.
It's comforting to know that we have THE ONE and don't have to worry. Of course I believe we have the obligation of voting, but fortunately God is in control. He won't be sitting there saying, "Ooops, the wrong one got elected." Whoever it is will fit into His plan. Let's pray though that it will be someone that upholds our values and errs on the side of life.
Well, if not a prophet, Okrah is definitely a preacher! Heh, heh... ;-) For those who might want to see how she thinks, you can go here http://herescope.blogspot.com/ and scroll down to Dec. 13. I agree with Robert: God is not worried!
I am wary and weary of Oprah! She comes off so sincere and wonderful, but has very ungodly ideas about things. What is scary is that so many women, especially, think of her as just under God, or maybe not under!

Terry, are you wary of him, or truly weary??? :)
Or maybe both?
Hello, I am a daily reader of your blog, and enjoy your lovely family. I am just curious why you feel that Oprah is a false prophet?

I meant wary. But I'm weary, too. I saw the misspellling originally but was too lazy to correct it. Thanks, Brenda.
