If You Build It, They Will Come

Countdown to Fifi's "Afternoon Tea for Young Ladies," to celebrate her 12th birthday. And then I will fall in a heap on the ground. But it will have been worth it. She will have been worth it.

It's all so beautiful. I love everything about that table. The dishes, the flowers, the candles. It's lovely. The tea cakes are beautiful. And your daughter is as lovely as she can be.

What a great idea this was. She'll never ever forget this.

You outdid yourself.

This is absolutely beautiful. You did a great job. Fifi will never forget this. What a blessing to her and you also.

P.S. Of course this is something I will just drool over, being that I only have boys. We don't have dainty--pretty birthday stuff. We do the MANLY stuff. LOL!!!

Again, you did a fabulous job.

Thank you, Mommy! I really had a wonderful time being the at-the-table host. It was the best party EVER!(Your parties always are.)Thank you for all the late nights and the tedious, hard work that was put into the petit fours and the hard work putting everything together.I will always remember the work that you put into it and the wonderful turnout. All that to say, I love you.

What sweet words, Fifi. I bet it was the best party EVER.

And, GB, did you MAKE those petit-fours? They look store-bought! (And I mean that in the best possible way.)

I did, Lady Laura. Rolled fondant and 5 assorted $.99 tips and I just did it. Because the cheapest I could find them made was $2. Each. :O
