Grandma Bought My Baby A New Fiddle

This is the new violin that Grandma and Grandpa offered to buy for their dear, dedicated granddaughter. So very generous...but mostly, a very kind gesture that Fifi will always remember. The old violin can be heard here or here.

And the opportunity to play on a better-quality instrument is not a minute too soon, either! Fifi is about 18-months overdue for this step-up, and next week has her first audition for an orchestra. This is her audition piece, Gavotte in D Major by Bach.

I'd like to pick up my audio-less computer and chuck it! Errgghh.

But how wonderful that her grandparents did this for her. All the more reason to cherish such a wonderful, encouraging gift.

So great! Beautiful violin playing! Our oldest daughter plays the violin, too! She has recently joined our local university orhcestra as a 9th grader. She would love to play for our church orchestra....maybe next year.

Thanks for visiting me at lifesong! We seem to have a lot in common!

I just love these video clips when you show your sweet and very talented daughters. I love her playing...makes me want to think about lessons for my own daughters.
And how generous of her grandparents!
Blessings!
