Edited to include additional winners and a "button."
I'm sorry. I'm going to say it.
I'm going to say what surely hundreds of other bloggers have been ashamed to admit they, too, are thinking as they stare back at that pretty blue button on the other ladies' work. Or the yellow garden shoe. Or the bobble head. Or the stick figure on the keyboard.
Because our blogs are an extention of ourselves, I'm admitting that there have been times when I've thought to myself, "What's wrong with me and my blog?"
So, I've decided to give my own awards to everyone on my blogroll, and then some. Because you all deserve it! In fact, if you would like to have a Restoring The Years blog award, and I've mistakenly left you out in my sleepy stupor, just say so! I can fix that.
And here they are....
Most consistently poignant: Betty's Bits
Most relatable Titus 2: Call Me Grandma Dawn
Most affectionate: Susan at Celedon Pool
Most sincere encourager: Barb at A Chelsea Morning
Most like a favorite neighbor: Tammy at Family Doin's
Most bold-for-the-Lord!: Melissa at Free In Christ
Most transparent for Christ's sake: Kari at Healed Waters
Most soothing: Ann V. at Holy Experience of LISTENING
Most evangelical: Kristine at Journey Into Radiant Womanhood
Most admirable in service and sacrifice: Heather at Just Laugh
Most slow-and-steady, getting-it-done: Large Family Logistics
Most compelling new read: Miriam at Miriam Pauline's Monologue
Most witty and real: Brenda at Rocking Chairs and Rainbows
Most sweetly humble: Sandi at A Work in Progress
Most joyful new mommy: Erna at Sweet Serenity
Most likely-to-make-you-smile blog title: Connie at This Little Blog Of Mine
Most introspective: Kpjara at Can You Hear Me Now?
That was difficult because so many of these Awards apply to so many of your blogs!
To all the winners...Congratulations! I now have a "button!" See it in my sidebar? Winners: If you want to put it on your sidebar and need help, leave me your email in my Comments section. Since I can delete it during moderation, be assured I will not publish it.

This means more to me than any blue button or any other award!
I mean that with all my heart!
In Christ alone,
Kari
I am honoured. Thank you so much! Your blog is a blessing to me and to be included in your blog friends means a lot.
You are such a sweety. I would say:
Most strength to conviction and desire to grow: Grafted Branch! with an honorary award for:
Greatest ability to capture childhood and homeschooling via wordless wednesday photographs.
God bless your socks off!
Hey GB! I was suprised and honored to see my name in there, thanks a bunch! I've been thinking of doing this very thing myself!
Thank you!
GB, I am honored to be named among your blog friends. You are truly a blessing, and this award is icing on the cake. What a nice surprise! The button will make a lovely addition to my sidebar. I've always liked that photo.
I hope you don't mind that I've prepared a speech. "I'd like to thank the academy..." Okay, not really.
But I do think you deserve an award yourself for most of the categories listed here. Excellence in parenting also comes to mind.
Thank you, sweet friend. God bless you!
Oh...wow. You are SO sweet!
And so right about sometimes wishing we were nominated because just seeing my name up there nearly brought tears to my eyes...honestly.
I would certainly nominate you, too...for the most genuine Christian blogger and excellence in home school parenting...
(HUGS!)
Holy Cow! I mean. Wow! I can't believe you gave me an award, GB. I'm thrilled, especially for the category. You are too sweet. And the award I'd give you is the "Guaranteed to Tell You What She Thinks Because She's Totally Honest" award. I would.
OK. I'm not seeing the button. I am seeing those wonderful family photos, though. I love those. But I don't see the button. So if you want to send it to me my email is BarJr50@aol.com and it's public so you don't have to delete my comment.
Wow. What a surprise this was. I will proudly display the button in my sidebar and you know how I feel about putting things in my sidebar! LOL
OK, wait a minute. I think I DO see the button. Is it the Just Because button? Oh I hope so. That button's so pretty.
I've been looking for your blog for a while GB!! So much of what you've written in your blog is the same familiar cries of my heart. Thank you for blessing others and chronicling your journey with the Lord and your family.
Emmanuel's Peace!
Betty

*blush* How precious! I am so humbled!!
What a precious expression of encouragement and support...
I've enjoyed my visit here and will return!
I followed Barb's link - and I think this ROCKS!
What an encourager you are - and I know these ladies appreciate it. I've said before that Brenda should get some kind of award just for her comments - have mercy she's hysterical.
Have a wonderful weekend...d
Hi...I'm just making a visit from Tammy's Family Doin's...I'm so glad she got this award, very well deserved...and I see I have quite a few to check out...thanks so much for recognizing these one's efforts...you must be a great friend to have!!

I'm just catching up here and was surprised to see my name listed in your awards. Thank you so much! How sweet to be the "Most Joyful New Mommy." Thanks! I'll post yoru button on my blog.
I just had to come back and echo what has already been said: This means more than any award could! I wanna say sooo much and cannot figure out how to express myself... My heart is very full! *THANK YOU!* (((((HUGS))))) sandi
Aloha! I am a new blogger and have been enjoying visiting blogs of Christian women like you. Your blog is a blessing! Thank you.
Liza
Always late to the party, I am ~smile~ Saw the lovely button over at lovely Kari's... and linked here to find such kind words encouraging so many.
Thank you for sharing how God is using the blogosphere to minister to you... And for introducing us to more women who are praising His name.
My humble gratitude for your thoughtfulness... God is gracious to use simple, humble scratchings in this neck of the woods for any good---a sign that God is in the center?
Blessings on you and your family, GB.... good to share the journey towards Home with other sisters in the faith. Looking forward to heaven and seeing face to face not only our cherished Bridegroom, but meeting the rest of the body of Christ!
All is gift,
Ann V.
OH PLEASE forgive me! I saw a button for this on someone's blog, and OH how I want one too! Can I please have one? For some reason I'm weepy and strange tonight, and reading this again just made me smile. So long after the fact~*THANK YOU!* I needed it today. (((((HUGS))))) sandi
