I need the Lord this morning. Adversary is trying to distract me from my earthly purpose by any. means. necessary. And he knows that Monday morning will be an excellent time to throw me off course because it will inevitably affect the rest of the academic week.
But on the other side of the distraction I can clearly see the Lord.
Between here and there, I could use some prayer -- prayer for a time of quiet, private meditation beyond the shared time in His Word with my girls. I need it before many more minutes go by, because...I'm distracted.

I am praying! I know how those mornings can be!
Lord, please be with Grafted and allow her the time to be with you to get refocused this morning! I know you long for us to be with you!
Thank you, Lord!
I'm praying for you this moment!
Thanks to you both for your care in my moment of need.
Please know that whatever differences there might be, I am praying.
Prayers sent. I hope you are encouraged this evening!
Father, give her your clarity and understanding...You say we have the mind of Your Son, Christ...make that real in "Grafted's" life right now...
Peace and grace to you
Prayed for you this morning.
I missed this morning, but am trusting that the prayers were answered!
I'm sorry you had such a tough time earlier this week. E-mails and all internet correspondence can be taken the wrong way so easily.
I didn't get this until after the fact. Actually, I did read it earlier in the day, but, I guess you could say I was distracted, and didn't quit get it then.
I do hope that the day got better for you. I have now said a prayer for you.
I finally did the meme.
Have a blessed day, and week.

Wow! I haven't had time to catch up in a while. I have never commented on a blog. I haven't gotten into blogging or much e-mailing, for that matter, for this very reason. Without the advantage of voice inflection, body language, etc. too much can be read into what is written. I think this is very true in this particular thread. Anyone who knows GB knows that she blogs for herself. Reflections that, for the sake of the internet, would be written in a private diary and hidden away for her and the Lord only (and later for her girls). These comments are not aimed at anyone or even about anyone. They are the thoughts of a kind, sweet person who is very deep, sensitive, smart, and a little sarcastic (grin). If you truly know her heart, you will know that what is written is not for offense. Let's face it, we all have too many more important things to do than to live our lives being offended by one another. Getting caught up in an offense is a great way for satan to keep us off track from what is really important. (Boy am I preaching to myself or what, GB? Ha! Ha!). Live in His Mercy and understanding.
