Kinda in a passive sort of way. I'll take it -- someday my kids will be glad I filled out this list of Seven Sevens:
7 Things I Hope to Do Before I Die
1. Write something -- oh yes, here it is!
2. Sew Two the "pretty quilt" she has asked for so often over the past 2 years.
3. Find a place for everything and keep everything in its place.
3a. Memorize the references to the scriptures that have been hidden in my heart.
4. Sing again -- oh yes, I'm doing that too! Isn't my Father so good and kind?!
5. See Europe -- especially Italy.
6. Decipher and nurture each child's special talent/interest with some special attention.
7. Learn to camp with Husband and the children.
7 Things I Cannot Do Well
1. Endeavor to learn a new thing without some degree of panic.
2. Make a real grocery list in less than 30 minutes.
3. Walk confidently in my day without verbally and purposefully acknowledging that the Lord orders my steps.
4. Remember movie themes and which ones I've already seen.
5. Recall details and dates in history as well as my 10-year old can.
6. Get out of bed before the children do.
7. Put down this blog!
