See I was thinking the same thing - that they wrote and mailed letters to each other! Isn't blogging (or leaving comments) just the grown up version of pen pals? Ha Ha. Cute picture.
Ha! I, too, thought they had written to each other. It was a cute thought! You can learn alot about someone--even one who lives under the same roof--by having them write you a letter.
But I guess they probably like having "real" penpals. ;)

Oh, my pen pal in the seventh grade was Suzanne from England. I wonder what ole' Suzy is up to today.
