Cuddlebug was a little shocked when Mommy easily picked it out of her mouth. (It was a much easier job than it was with one of
Dumpling's first loose teeth.)

But was so relieved that this exciting, but scary "first" was behind her. Fifi catches the moment.

Before running upstairs to share the happy news with a sick Daddy, big sister, Dumpling, was there at the ready with the "treasure chest" to hold the tiny, precious jewel until tonight when Mommy or Daddy will leave "pieces of money" under her pillow in exchange.

How cool that the whole thing was documented with pictures!!
Hope daddy feels better soon!
See? This is what is so wonderful about being the youngest (I remember). EVERYONE gets in on what happens to you.
Congratulations, Cuddlebug! Here's hoping the next 3 are that easy!
Congratulations to Dumpling!! One of many first experiences that are bound to make the heart pit-pat a little faster.
Hooray!! Hope she spends the "pieces of money" wisely. :0)
I love the tissue in mouth. Brings back memories.
And I agree with Brenda. It's great to be the youngest! ;)
Congratulations Cuddlebug!
What a great day. Hey, I didn't get pieces of money under my pillow last week when the dentist pulled my wisdom tooth out. NO FAIR!! LOL!
Greate pictures. I love the tissue hanging out of her mouth. That about makes me gag just looking at it.
Ewww - I hate pulling teeth. I've abdicated that job to Daddy (or my eldest son if Daddy's not here). They use a dental floss lasso ~ must be the dormant cowboy coming out in them (too many John Wayne movies!). lol ;o) Kudos to you for a job well done!
Congratulations to Cuddlebug! There's nothing cuter than a gapped-tooth smile.
As Lily's teeth are on their way in, you bring me visions of things to come. How precious all these "firsts" are. And to capture them in photographs is so special. Thanks for sharing it with us.
How fun! I remember when Colin lost his first tooth. Precious pictures!
Yea! for the victory of the exit of one tooth! I love the second photo, in particular.
Hope you enjoy your weekend.

Sweet moment to share!
Um, is that a Christmas tree on the mantle?
LOL, Brenda. No, it's just a winter pine...or should I say an evergreen conifer?
We're excited to change over to the Spring decor!
