Right Now...

...Cuddlebug is standing on the chair above me, "doing" my hair as we have the evening to ourselves again while the rest of the family is at Bible study.

It hurts.

*Ouch!*

She is alternately asking me awesome questions like, "Mommy, how can we see our dreams at night if we're asleep?"

And giggling hard at my plea, "Ouch! You're killing me!" (Which is just what Dumpling screams through her laughter almost. every. single. morning. Payback is rough business.)

So, I'm waiting for Cuddlebug to mimic my response and start singing to me,

My mother bids me bind my hair
With bands of rosy hue,
Tie up my sleeves with ribbons rare,
And lace my bodice blue.

For why, she cries, sit still and weep,
While others dance and play?
Alas! I scarce can go or creep,
While Lubin is away...
