If you are looking for the one, true, right doctrine, this one is for you.
If you find your growth in Christ kind of...well...stagnant, this will be a hard truth that may help.
If you feel like your Walk with God is going in circles, this one can help you understand.
If you've been hurt or disappointed in the decisions or conduct of others, this will help you turn the mirror on yourself and stop blaming the people around you.
If you're going through a trial right now, here you might be surprised to hear Mr. Chamber's take on why that trial is NOT meant to teach you anything.
If you're not finding joy in the trial God has for you--if you're only looking to be done with it, read this and see it all differently.
If you think you're seeking Jesus, and think that you really, really love him, this scriptural truth may haunt you until you pray it--and obey it--to rest.
If you've ever taken comfort in your, "heart being in the right place," you might want to sit down before reading this one. And drink in that first sentence a time or two before you move on.
Be blessed, seek to walk worthy, and find peace my Friends!

You know, I've not read him. And I honestly have no idea why. But I'm thinking I should. So on my list of must reads he goes.
I love Oswald Chambers and have used My Utmost for HIs Highest for devotions last year. I need to do it every year. I'll check out the ones you highlighted. I get devotionals on line every day, but should add him to that list. His words are classis.
Okay, I own it but I haven't read it. Why? Dunno. But after going to a couple of the links, I shall. I really, really shall.
Thanks!
I've saved the links so I can read them when I have time to digest them.
Just wanted to say thank you for the blessing this day. A couple of those sermons were very meaningful.
Thanks.
Julia
Oh I love Oswald Chambers...My Utmost For His Highest-an excellant devotional. I also LOVE CH Spurgeon's Morning and Evening Devotions. What Godly men they were!
Earlier this year, I found a copy in a box I had packed away in the garage. I don't remember buying it, so it must have been a gift. What a nice surprise!
Oops - I just read my typo - make that "classic!"
Thanks so much for stopping by today and for your kind words. They really encouraged me.
I gave his devotional to my husband on our wedding day (he had hinted at this) and he now has the OC website as his opening page on the computer to start his morning devotions...:)
