Seven Random Things About Me...
- I once operated my own resume-writing business. These were the days before Monster.com.
- I was a radio promotions director in the '90s. It was hard work, late nights, little pay. I'm sooooooo glad that's over.
- As a vocalist, my first solo before an audience was during summer camp after 8th grade; I sang "Maybe," from the Broadway show Annie. And yes, I used a whiny, bright sound because that was all the rage.
- I have 13 1st cousins on my father's side of the family and 38 2nds (I think). Glory to God for full quivers!
- My favorite memory from childhood was going to see The Sound of Music with my best friend, Deanna Jones. I don't know when I've laughed so hard as we did during the puppet show scene.
- I had a tremendous tension headache on my wedding night. Yes, I'm afraid it's true.
- My mother and I were within one day in age when we married: she was 20 years and 16 days, I was 20 years and 15.

I was older than you when I got married, 20 years and 61 days!
Hubby was 24 and 16 days.
Good list.
Great list! Sound of Music? Only one of my favorites EV-AH! Also, I'm in the Lots of Cousins club, as my maternal grandmother was the eldest of 13. LOVE the cousins!!
Have a great week!!
I was 20 years, 10 months and 18 days!
Thanks for playing :D
That was fun. Thanks.
I may try it sometime. We'll see.
Well, for pete's sake. I didn't know you like to be tagged. I'll remember that. LOL
Listen to this music! It was only a matter of time, of course.
Please. You did NOT have a headache on your wedding night. I can only imagine what your husband must have thought. I'm sorry, but that just cracks me up. It does.
:-)
I was 25 and 3 months - thought I was an old maid.
Good meme - fun answers. Good to know more about you.
I envy your cousins. I only have two and I don't know them.
BTW, for the first time I happened to have my computer speakers on and heard your FANTASTIC music!! Love it!
How fun - I just got done doing my list, and here I find yours!
A headache? On your wedding night? Hubby must have thought he was in for it! ;)
And I'm trying to catch up to you... twelve cousins, but they have more since there are eight children in my family, so I guess that's twenty cousins total!
While my family is not so large, my husband's family has so many cousins we've lost count. His grandmother was an only child, had ten kids, and now has about 40 grandkids (I think!), 20 great grands (at last count), and at least 5 great, great, grands. His family's family reunions are a blast!
