Flying Fingers: Handel's Presto

Praise the LORD with the harp;
make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.

Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.

Psalm 33:2-3

Wonderful! Thanks for sharing. She is talented, and very disciplined, it seems.
Have a blessed day.

What a lovely way to start my morning!

Fifi's playing is especially sweet to my ears after a night of drums and techno at the Blue Man Group. I feel cleansed!

She is so lovely to watch too. I wanna be just like her when I grow up.

She plays beautifully. Please share with her how blessed I was to watch her play. She looks about the age of my twin granddaughters. I also enjoyed your post on the Road to Regret. Although my children are all grown and one is deceased now (see post of Saturday 4/7), I too remember those days even though it seems a long time ago. Thank you for sharing. I've added your site so that I can come back and visit your blog again. Many blessings!

Well, it took my slow dial-up forever to load this, but I'm so glad I was patient!
Brava, Fifi! Bellissimo! I have tears in my eyes, and I'm sure my sons thought I was crazy as I rocked to and fro in my chair with my eyes closed from time to time.
I love it.

Oh my word, what a treat! Flying fingers, indeed. She's amazing. Thank you for this sweet little pause in my afternoon, GB.

And do I see a little collection of Willow Tree Angels on that shelf behind her? I do believe two of my favorites are sitting there, the Angel of Happiness and the Angel of Wisdom. This post expresses exactly both those things.

Her smile at the end of her performance was my very favorite part. :-)

Thank you all for leaving a sweet word of encouragement! Fifi reads them and is spurred on by your kindness.

And yes, Barb! I love Willow Tree. You DO see Wisdom, Happiness, and two more: Father and Daughter and Angel of Mine. They each secretly remind me of my girls -- but I'll never say which one for whom! ;)

So sweet! She is doing a great job!

I have enjoyed several of your posts recently. So, I linked three of them for others to read.

Thanks!

Evie and I were watching this, and she commented, "wow, she could be in an orchestra!" ;-) Great job!

Did you turn comments off on purpose for the above post? Or do I just not know how to be the first to post? This doesn't have to be posted because it's out of sync.
However, I did want to ask you: Where were you when I was raising my kids stuck in legalism or at the very least stuck in what will others think? I *love* your approach and comment about dance. The kids are going to move to any music so teach them to honor God. The same can be said for music. Thank you for sharing the post. I very much enjoyed it ALL.

Eeek! Thanks, Robin. I certainly didn't mean to turn off comments. *hmmmm* Though maybe that was Providential! We'll see who says what. :)
