Oh! What She Said!

Fifi is vying for the title, I think.

The other day, when I asked her to carry washcloths up from the laundry room, she pivoted on her shiny black church shoe with an incredulous look on her face and meekly said,

"But Mommy, it's Sunday."

Husband and I laughed soooo hard. And not with her, either -- but at her! *giggle* I never thought of that before. I wonder if it works?

*******************

And just now as handsome Husband is readying his coffee* in the kitchen, she rose from the table to clear her cereal bowl and announced,

"Daddy, do you realize that in 2 years you'll be half-a-hundred?"

That Fifi! It's a good thing she's cute. *wink*

*Yes, Husband readies his own coffee. Not because I won't, but, because he likes it on the road-tar side of black, and because he's a 21st century man that way. I luvs him.

Oh my...half a hundred. I bet that made his day! ;)

And the expression "readies his coffee" was cute to me, since we don't say in these parts! :)

Hey Grafted, I wanted to thank you... Your comment you left on my blog yesterday (or this morning? not sure) really made me laugh out loud :) Thanks for encouraging me, I've really appreciated it!
