Your Cold Is My Cold Too

Poor Husband was sick Sunday and Monday -- just a head cold, but it kept him down for 2 days!

Overnight, I awoke to that tickle in my throat that told me I would not escape unscathed. Dumpling awoke this morning with a "hurty nose" too. And after she played nanny for a few hours from breakfast to lunch, Fifi felt it coming on as well.

Little Cuddlebug pretended to be sick. Because when we're sick around these parts, it is our custom to watch as many movies and videos as we can stuff into the hours between the time Daddy leaves for work and comes home again.

Thanks to Fifi's walkie-talkies, and the three girls' trustworthiness, I was able to rest in my own bed upstairs. When I came down between naps, my darlings were draped over the furniture with pillows and blankets in such a way as to remind me of a Salvadore Dali painting.

Not a terribly productive day, but I'm trusting we're better and back on (a modified) schedule tomorrow.

A-HAAAA! I thought you were just avoiding the "pointy finger!"

Just kidding :-) That stuff is making the rounds. Someone was back at rehearsal last night with the last of it. I'm blaming it on the Mulch Fire to the NW...blog on!

The Salvadore Dali remark has me picturing listless little girls draped all over the place. How sweet is that?

I hope this is a short thing. No fun when everyone's sick at the same time.
