Do you remember where you were that Tuesday morning?
Do you remember how terrified you were because it was so unexpected?
Do you remember wondering if this was the end of the world? Or at least our part of it?
Do you remember being the prey to the predator?
Do you remember watching the chaos?
Do you remember wondering where was the President?
And the Vice President?
And do you remember wondering whether there was anywhere that their safety could be ensured?
Do you remember how tall those towers were in life and how tremendous their size in death?
Do you remember the fragments that fell down the length of the towers before they imploded?
Those weren't fragments. They were people.
Did they think maybe there might be something that could break their fall to keep them alive?
I did. But this wasn't a Hollywood production.
Do you remember how much they hate us?
Do you remember how imaginative they are?
Do you remember how patient they are?
Do you remember how. much. they. hate. us?
Do you think you understand?
Have you read God's Word?
It's all right there. Ishmael and Isaac. And that he is a "donkey of a man," and that he will be at odds with everyone, forever.
Is your truth enough to overcome their truth?
His Truth is.
Do you remember 9/11?
Do you really remember?
Because if you don't, they will remind you.
I remember here,
and Peggy Noonan remembers poignantly here,
and many, many more bloggers are remembering here.

I remember.
I remember.......and thanks for visiting my blog......
Wonderful remembrance. Yes, those fragments were people. I thought that they chose to fall to their deaths, instead of suffer in the fire. What an awful choice to make. And thanks for the tribute to the side. I'm going to try to post it too.
Hey- I linked over to the Capn Bob link that had the tribute. Didn't care for his Steve Irwin post- language and attitude. FYI. Thanks, Melanie
Thanks for coming by Southerne Somedays. I am feeling so emotional today about this anniversary. I just added a bit to my 9-11 post....Quoted from my blog, "Our church showed this preview for a documentary on the Crosses that rose from the 9-11 rubble and it was a wonderful reminder that God is right there and right here...in the center of it all. He knows, He remembers. Please take the 9 minutes to watch this and see His signs of hope...:"

Melanie...thanks for the info on the tribute post owner's blog. You know? I didn't even read his blog at all -- just picked up the code and scrammed!
I certainly don't recommend it, for a number of reasons. But having said that, I'll keep the tribute for the week. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to make that clear.
Well said Grafted. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I do remember.
I was informed of what was going on by a call from my sister-in-law as I was still in bed, notwanting to get up, that day. After that, I stayed there watching what was going on with breaks only long enough to feed and take care of the kids--trying to keep them from seeing all that was going on. Explaining what I could to those who were old enough to understand a little.
It was hard to fathom that it could happen in our country. Hard to understand how it happened so fast, all those people....
We will remember tomorrow as a family and pray for those families still dealing with the effects of this tragedy.
As mentioned recently, the children born shortly after that time are now old enough to ask and want to know where their fathers are...
May we never forget the loss or where our only security comes from.
I remember. Sorry, as you were trying to read my post, I was editing it. Try again. You'll actually see something this time.
Thanks for checking the link. I figured you saw the graphic and just went with it. From reading your posts, I could tell you wouldn't like some of what was said. :>)) I love the photo recently posted. Very moving visual.
