This very generous young girl invited Two to sit down with her cello and try it out -- SOLD! I'm really very pleased that Two was excited about this instrument. I've come to really appreciate its sound of late and think that she is a good candidate for it: strong and confident (strong for the lifting, confident for the position which, in Two's opinion is to "sit like a boy,"). All for the sake of the art, I suppose.
Three is at the piano, with which I think she may have a future. I don't

I wonder what it all will look like in 5 years...10 years...beyond? Obviously, their mother has already chosen a name for the trio. :)
I'm determined not to be a hyper-scheduled mom, but there is so much in which it would delight my soul to involve them. Music for sure, but also martial arts (for protection) and Mexican Folklorico (for the beauty and heritage). Ugh. It all costs so much in time and money. I want to choose carefully because none of these things by themselves will matter in eternity, but each ought to at least be profitable to this life -- supplying a beauty, purpose and joy to which both participant and audience can say, "What delight! Thank you Lord for your goodness to us!"
And having said that, the relationships between God and person, parent and child, and sister to sister are still the priority. That alone takes a fair amount of time that I must be careful not to spend too freely on other "good" pursuits.
